Waves and more beach

There weren't very big waves at all.  But we ran and played in the little waves that were there.  And of course in the sand.  The shell crushed sand :)

More beach days

More super fun beach days.  They consisted of waking up, eating breakfast, getting sunscreened, beach time, back to the house, pool time, nap time, back to the beach, back to the pool, dinner, and BED.  We were all so exhausted at the end of every day.  But that's what is so wonderful about the beach!

Olivia and Anthony were good buddies this year!  They were able to play together a lot and were a good match.  The bigger boys were always off trying to snorkel with Brice or hunt for shells or fish.  So I was glad that Liv had Anthony to play with, and I think he was glad to have her.  It was so fun to see them relationship grow!  Seeing Anthony just once a year is not enough.

Beach days!

This year we went to Venice, Florida with the King family for a little reunion.  The beach was pretty great.  I LOVE the beach.  I say that every year we go, and every year we go, I still LOVE the beach. This beach was a little further away than Destin.  Like four hours further.  But the town wasn't a very big touristy town, especially for July.  I thought it would be crowded, but it so wasn't.  In fact, usually there was just one other family there on the beach with us, and sometimes we had it completely to ourselves.  Isn't that so crazy?  I mean, if you look at the beach in the background of all the pictures, you will see no one.  And I didn't even have to clone anybody out or anything.

Let me break down the highlights of the trip:

The beach wasn't crowded.
It was really hot.
My favorite time to go out to the beach was in the evening, as it always it.
The house had it's own pool, which was awesome.
Annalise was a little whiny sometimes.
But she also was happy when she was eating.
We found a lot of shark teeth, which was cool.
There were so many shells and we got so many cool looking ones.
My parents got food poisoning of some kind.
Anthony was sick all day traveling there Saturday and their experience seemed like a nightmare.
Cameron threw up all night Thursday night.
We saw a manatee on the night we went to the pier, and that was really cool.
We played games.
We flew kites.
We laughed.
We cleaned puke.
The big boys went to a movie.
I was exhausted most nights, because the beach will do that to you.
And I can't wait to go to the beach again!

And I'm just going to post pictures in no particular order as I edit them.  I took a lot.  As I always do.
