This year all the kids were really in to playing on the boogie boards. Olivia learned to ride, too, though on the day with the really rough waves she preferred to leave the board behind and just fight the waves with out it. But with the gentle waves she could ride like a pro.
Annalise though, not surprisingly, did not like the boogie boards. Or the rough waves. She liked to be in the water past where the waves would break. She like the gentle up and down of the soft rolling waves. And she liked playing in the sand.
Uncle Colton brought his inflatable kayak and took out the kids who wanted to go. Jace went with Bowman once, and they dove off the kayak to the ocean floor to find sand dollars.
Brice caught a a bunch of pufferfish one day. Blowfish. Pufferfish. They're the same thing. Even when someone tries to tell you otherwise hehe.
Jace and Bowman were out swimming in the waves together, looking for pufferfish, and poor Bowman got stung by a jellyfish.
