We got back from the beach a week ago. And I feel like the end of our beach vacation should have been the feeling of the total, final end of summer. Except for that this whole previous week it was pretty much 100 degrees outside and so hot and humid that you couldn't go outside without wanting to die.
So I still felt like we should be allowed to go swimming or something.
But today feels more like fall. A little rainy and actually below 70. What?! We haven't felt this cool since April, or something like that. And so it's a nice Saturday to be home and let the kids ruin their brains with tv and video games and catch up on laundry and cleaning. Also Liv has been sick all morning, but she seems to be feeling better now. And I'm going to start posting some of our beach pictures. Woohoo! I can look back at them and pretend we're still there.
