Sparkling sparklers

A rare picture of Uncle Colton in our summer fun with the cousins.  He got to stay the whole time this year.  I'm not sure if he loved it or not, but it was fun having him there!

Melanie and Troy got all the kids a box of sparklers, and the kids loved them!  They went through them pretty fast, too.

Cam got a little too close to Jace's neck.

Just Titus

This picture gets its own post because I forgot to post it with the other sunset jeep pictures.  I guess I could go add it.  But this is just easier.  Look at those curls, though!!

Sunset jeep

Leesie was not afraid to throw an elbow when she thought Lyla was getting in her way.  Oh Leesie.  You and Lyla will be good buddies some day.  And then Lyla will say, hey remember how when I was a baby you didn't like me to touch you, and also elbowed me in the face?

Titus and his crazy curls!!

Popsicle Pairs and the Lyla Paparazzi

Oh these two growing goofballs.

Lyla's popsicle was a little tart.  And Annalise was so concerned about Lyla touching her that she kept leaning close to Titus.  I don't think that she knew what she was doing, because she also didn't ever want Titus to touch her either.

The popsicle gang

The cousins arrived two weeks ago.  And two weeks has flown by in kind of a blur.  It's probably a good thing I take pictures of it all, because otherwise I wouldn't remember a single thing that happened.  It just goes so fast, and the moments are so crazy and loud and busy that you barely have time to even take it all in.  But that's what all the pictures are for!  We had our traditional popsicle picture of all the cousins.  Little Lyla had her first taste of popsicle. and he wasn't quite sure what to think of it.  The others thought it was hilarious watching her eyes squinting as she puckered from the sourness of the popsicle.  They were like super sour popsicle or something like that.

This last one is probably my favorite.  Annalise likes Lyla. . . unless Lyla is touching her, haha!

Happy birthday, Leesie!

On Leesie's actual birthday we had dinner and cake and ice cream at Granny's.  And Grandma and Paka were still visiting with us from when they surprised us, so they got to be there, too!  I made Leesie a cute little puppy cake.  And she knew just how to blow out her candles.  And the look on her face when we were singing to her was so precious.  She knew we were singing just for her.  I love this sweet little two year old!!
