Chuck E. Cheese

Chuck E. Cheese is my new favorite pizza place with games.  And the only other competition was really Gattitown.  So it didn't have much to beat out, I guess.

But it's so much better than Gattitown for the little kids.  First of all, you don't have to pay to get in, because you don't have to eat if you don't want to.  You can just go and play games.  Score.

Also, they stamp everyones hands with the same number in this special black light visible ink and nobody can leave with a kid unless they have the same number.  And we went there for a birthday party once and Annalise sucked all over the sticker that her number was on, therefore it got erased.  And they wouldn't let me take her out until I showed them like  five different pictures of her on my phone.  I'm glad they're crazy about it, because then I can just sit there and let the kids run wild and not worry.

And the games are just  better for younger kids.  Olivia LOVES it.  She runs off on her own with her little token and plays a game, grabs her tickets (usually just one, haha) and comes running back to me for another token.  All while I just sit there.  And every game costs one token.  Sweet.

So we went there when Grandma was in town.  And we all had a blast. 

This was like a little roller coaster game.  The chair moved like you were on a real ride as you watched the ride on the screen.  Cam loves it.  As did Jace.  But when we went back for the birthday party for the kid in Cam's class, he and his little friends basically used all their coins on this ride.

A) Jace is whiny

B) Look at Leesie's face in the picture above.  HA!  I loved it when I noticed it.

So when the kids rushed back to the table to leave their tickets and take another token, Grandma thought she would be helpful and separate all the tickets.  But she wasn't aware that you have to manually feed your own tickets into the ticket counter machine.  So instead of long lines of connected tickets, the kids had to put them in one by one.  We had a good laugh over that.  And it kept them pretty busy.

Liv got bored with it pretty quick though.

But Cam was diligent.  And so was Jace.  And see the lady behind Jace?  She didn't tear her tickets apart :)  Also she has way more tickets than we ever would have, but that's okay.

Then they went to pick out their prizes.  And then Liv had to pee.  The end.
