Tomorrow is Halloween!

Livvy is 10-months-in-four-days!

I have a super cute Halloween outfit!

I think you know what that means!

I finally finished the boys Halloween costumes.  My mom sent me Olivia's costume.  I dressed her up in it yesterday and took pictures.  Which will come with the other actual Halloween pictures.

But then today I was rummaging around in Liv's drawer looking for a white shirt for under her costume and I found the adorable orange and black tights/skirt combo that I bought at a yard sale when she was a brand new itty baby.

So naturally I broke out the wrinkled old white sheet and threw it over some chairs.  I should really iron it sometime.  I probably won't though.

There is a problem arising, however.

It seems as if Miss Livvy is catching on to the annoyance of my constant picture taking.  And she is not being as cooperative as she once was.

Mostly she just won't look at me when I'm behind the camera.  And when she does, she will not smile.

But she is still extremely cute and that cuteness gets me enough of my picture taking high so that the joke is really on her.  I don't care if she doesn't smile. I don't even care if she were to flat out bawl.  I'm addicted to taking pictures of her.  Sorry, little girl.

So 10 month old Livvy is finally on the move.  She crawls on her knees and elbows.  Kind of like half army crawl, half regular crawl.  I should probably take a video of it.

As I recently indicated in her sleepy baby not napping post, she fights her naps a LOT.  The morning one is usually okay but I'm lucky if I can get her down for an afternoon nap.  Fortunately she's still pretty happy even when she's exhausted.

She loves the phone, of course.

She has been doing a little better at eating real food.  Yay!

She can say "da-da", "boo", and "be-be" (which she says when I tell her to say baby) and "juh" which she will sometime say when I tell her to say "Jace".

Also lest you think I am a neglector of my other children. . . Jace is super excited for his Halloween party at school tomorrow.  And Cam will not let me take any pictures of him and also refuses to wear a shirt.

I am super excited to see them all dressed up in their Halloween costumes tomorrow. Even though it is supposed to rain all day and most likely all the paint on their costumes will wash away.  Great.

Does any one else ever look at all of their kids' toys, books, papers, art supplies, puzzles, figurines, legos and an assortment of other random stuff that litters the floor of every inch of the house and think I WANT TO THROW THIS ALL AWAY?

We're moving Jace and Cameron into the "computer room" and Livvy into their room.

I want to throw everything away.
What a sleepy baby who won't take a nap looks like.

What ninja training looks like.

When you can't  beat em. . . just take pictures.

(and pray with all your heart that nothing gets broken)

P.S.  There has been talk of getting rid of that ugly, horrible, I-hate-it carpet.  Yes, please.

As of late. . .

Livvy has been sick.  She has an ear infection.

She has been making herself gag and puke when I try to feed her anything other than a bottle.

Except luckily she likes her antibiotic.

I noticed a blister on her top gum so a wee little tooth should be popping out soon.  Perhaps that's another reason she's been so miserable.

Cam surprisingly has not been sick.  Yay for that.  He is a stud, apparently.  Some guy at Walmart bought him a soda for no reason.

He knows how to work it, that is for sure.

Jace has been having pretty good days at school.  And he scored really well on some test that they gave (one of those standard ones.  For the state, I guess).  Good job, Jace!  Perhaps I didn't fry your brain with tv and video games.  I'm going to start helping in his classroom on Fridays for an hour and I'm really excited to a) see what they do in there and b) get back into a classroom.  I feel like it will give me the itch to teach again.  But not enough of an itch to return to that any time soon :)

And now some pictures from the other day, before I lose interest from you completely.

This was before the doctor.  Livvy was not in the mood for my picture shenanigans.

I told you Cam is a stud.  And seriously, seeing him in action at say, the grocery store, is almost too ridiculous.  He waves, he bats his eyes. . . it's hard to imagine he is actually the BIGGEST fit thrower around.

Still no smile from Liv.

Cam told me he was the "swing master".

In other news, Brice finished the closet in our room.  It is now the nicest part of our old, old, slightly ghetto house.  So until we can fix this place up enough and sell it, I will go stand in there when I feel discouraged.
