Black and white spinning

The sun was so harsh and orange in these pictures that I thought they looked better in black and white.  Kind of dramatic.  For my dramatic spinning girl :)

Beach 4

Jace and Liv were looking for those little mountains with little holes in them in the sand under the water.  Liv started finding them and picking them up first and she thought it was pretty darn cool.

Then she started doing some spinning.

The boys

I love these boys of mine.  They are getting so big.  It makes me a little sad, but mostly I'm loving getting to see how their little minds are starting to figure things out about the world.

Sisters

Sisters.

Have I mentioned how happy I am that they have each other?

Bed for a king

His subjects look less than thrilled, haha.

Wave warriors

The waves were pretty ferocious a few different times during the week, but the two older boys weren't the least bit intimidated.  Even when the waves seemed to swallow them whole.

Me and her

I occasionally made an effort to get in a picture, too.  Two of my loves.  My baby and the beach :)

Also I cut my hair off a few weeks ago.  And then I thought, oh man, it's going to be so annoying to keep it pulled back when we're at the beach.  I should have waited.  But then actually it was the least annoying my hair has ever been.  It was long enough to put in a little pony tail (with lots of bobby pins) and not so heavy that when it got wet it felt like my head had gained fifty pounds.  Short hair at the beach seems to be the way to go.
