Jumping off the slide

My little missy thinks she's big stuff since she decided she was brave enough to jump off the slide.

Not from the top, mind you.  But from the top ladder rung.

She was so proud of herself and it was adorable.

And also Cam seemed to think he was big stuff because he could do it too.  Liv, as you can see in the background, was not thrilled when he decided to steal her thunder.

February and March

In true Kentucky fashion, February and March have been glooooooooomy.  Cold, wet, snow, rain, cold. . . all that good winter stuff.  Jace was out of school for an entire week once because it snowed Sunday night and then took all week to melt enough for back roads to be good enough for school to be resumed.  Then he was out for a Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday a few weeks later because of another big snow.

During one of the days off school the boys made a tent.  Actually they pretty much made a tent like every day.  But I took pictures of it once.

I actually wasn't too annoyed with the days off school this year.  Seeing as how I'm the laziest mom ever, it was nice to get to sleep in and not have to take Jace to school.  Plus he entertained Cam and Liv and the fighting was pretty moderate and bearable.  I think it was a win for me.

And now I'm 28 weeks.  My belly is huge.  Probably as big as it got with Liv.  And I've got over two months to go.  I don't really know how I will get any bigger, but undoubtedly I will.  So I will continue waddling around, huffing and puffing and grunting when I have to bend over and pick anything up.  Or get up from a sitting position.  Or get out of the van.  Or just be.

I was wearing a before I got huge t-shirt around the house the other day so it was pretty tight and Cam noticed my gigantic belly.  And kept saying, "You're belly is getting pretty big mom."  Over and over and over.  And then of course Livvy had to copy him to she kept saying, "Momma pitty big" over and over.  And then he wanted to touch my belly and feel the baby move.  And she did give him a couple of pretty fierce kicks, which he thought was really cool. Then Liv wanted to feel the baby kick too, but she ended up just slapping me in the stomach a few times.  Nice.

Beach video

Once upon a time we were at the beach.  It seems so long ago now, especially since this cold and dreary winter has seemed to drag on and on.  But remember when it was warm and sunny?

Olivia Rose

It's been awhile since I took some pics of Liv with the good camera, all dolled up.  And by dolled up I mean with a hair bow :)

I told her she could jump on my bed and eat chocolate.  What more could she want?

She blew spit bubbles at me to indicate she was DONE.

And then because I never can choose between color and black and white, here they all are again.

3 little monkeys

Tuesday Jace stayed home from school and we took a trip to the doctor.  It was discovered that both he and Cam had strep throat.  He had a pretty rough day.  Puking and laying around for most of it.

Cam didn't seem affected by the strep at all.  Lucky him.

So then Wednesday I figured I would give Jace one more day to recover since when he went to bed Tuesday night he was still throwing up and feeling pretty miserable.

His 12 hours of sleep worked magic though.  I kept threatening all day to take him to school.  Though I really wasn't going to.  Because that would mean actually going into the office and signing him in, which would require some kind of getting ready preparation.

These three played together for a little while.  And it was cute.

Trains, football, and pirates

Liv and her "Coggy" play so well together.  Most of the time.

The other day they played trains,  And then football.  And then pirates.

However sometimes Liv will steal a toy or not do something "right" according to Cam.  And he'll yell at her.  And she'll cry and act like she's the saddest little girl in the world.

Then she'll run away and sulk.

But after Cam apologizes, she'll jump right back into playing.

In other news, winter needs to be over.  And Jace just puked all over the couch.
