Oh Jace

The most unwilling participant of course made the funniest faces.  But then Leesie came and gave him a kiss, so he was all smiles after that.  Have I mentioned that he adores her?

Just Cameron

The Cam was next.  A little shy.  Or pretending to be a little shy.  Those cheeks still kill me.  I love them so much!

Just Leesie

So I made all the kids sit on front of the window in the girls room one dreary afternoon.  I love how all the pictures turned out.  I feel like their little personalities totally shine through when I sit them down and tell them to just be normal, haha!  Sweet Leesie.  She's so happy in these pictures!!

Spider man makes an appearance

I love that Cameron likes to play pretend so much still.  He likes dressing up almost as much as the girls :)  He has a bag of all their old Halloween costumes under his bed, and his favorite one is Spider-man.  It's getting a little snug though, so I'm pretty sure holes will start popping up where he's busting through the seams :)

Little Miss Attitude

Oh this little Miss Leesie has some attitude!  She can definitely get the "tude" on.  Lately when I'm telling her something that she doesn't want to hear, she covers her ears and say, "Don't talk to me."  So there's that.  She learned that one from her big sister, who says that little phrase quite often, and is usually directing it to Annalise.  So now Annalise says it when she hears something she doesn't want to hear.   She also says, "Don't look at me," when she's grumpy and anyone looks at her.  She also likes to scold her siblings, and she can do it like a champ.  Her talking has been improving in the last month or so, and she says so many complete sentences now.  She's definitely moving past the baby stage.  Sob sob.

Then there's this crazy jumping girl. Who is 5 years old now!!!!

Potty time

As I mentioned in my last post, Annalise is basically potty trained.  And she basically did it herself, too.  So recently I have started putting her on the potty to pee before her bath, and have noticed that she stays dry for a looooong time.  So one night as I was putting her in her pajamas I noticed she was still dry, so I made her pee before bed.  Which she did with no problem.  And then I noticed we were on like the last of the diapers.  So I thought, it really doesn't make sense to buy a whole other package of diapers when it's pretty obvious this girl is ready to be potty trained.  She can't stand being wet, she tries to put her own diaper on. . . come on, Mom.  Get it together.

So I bit the bullet and started the task.  She has done really well!  She even woke up dry this morning.  So maybe we're out of the woods, and this girl is pretty much potty trained.  Of course there will be accidents, but still. . . why does my Leesie girl want to grow up so fast?  She weened herself from her bottle, she transitioned to a big girl bed with flying colors, she gave up the passi pretty easy, and now this.  I mean I'm glad. . . but my baby is getting SO big.

Also these are just the rated G pics of her trying to put her diaper on.  I have some super cute bum shot pictures, but those can't go on here.  They'll just be special for my blog book :)
