Big Sis

She's never far way from the action.  Or the camera.  Or the trouble.  If I hear squawking and yelling some kind of ruckus going on, you can be pretty sure she'll be right in the middle of it.  Of course, in our small house, we're basically all right in the middle of it.  All the time.  ALLLLL the time.

Jace and Leesie

Oh my sweet kiddos.  Our little Annalise is so loved by her brothers.  They love to cuddle her and have her sit by them and they love to play with her.  And of course they sometimes love to aggravate her.  But that's only natural.  These pictures of Jace playing with Leesie when she woke up from her nap are so sweet.  Oldest and youngest.  Oh my heart.

After school

After school hanging.  The boys don't get to play video games or look at the ipad during the school week.  I wish I could say the same for the girls.  They get to use the iPad during various parts of the day.  Like if I need to shower.  Sometimes they'll be watching it when the boys get home from school, and the boys will run to them and sit next to them and watch whatever girlie show it is they're watching.  Just to look at it.

Oh those boys.

Then I put it away.  And they don't ever complain about it.

Ha.  Yeah right.

More crib pics

I've taken a lot of pictures in the girls room by the crib lately because that's where the good light is in the afternoon.  And also I love taking pictures of Annalise when she's sleeping.  Or just waking up.  Because there is something so cute about a just woken up little blurry eyed baby.

Also when I wrote the title for this post, it dawned on me that we are really getting closer and closer to the ends of the days of the crib.  Today for nap time Leesie threw a fit until I let her lay in bed with Livvy.  And then she settled right down and took a good little nap.  And it was cute. But then also, I'M NOT READY FOR NO CRIB!!!  I'm not ready to say goodbye to the crib.  Because then it means that my fourth and final baby is sleeping in a big girl bed.

And that is crazy.  And shocking.  And I don't really feed sad.  But I feel kind of melancholy about it. So.  We'll keep using the crib.  She hasn't really fussed about being in the crib for bedtime yet.  She just doesn't like it for nap time.  Maybe it's just a phase, though.  Maybe she'll get over it.

Liv gets in the crib

Lately Olivia thinks it's super hilarious to get in the crib with Annalise.  Leesie isn't so sure about that.

Power ranger girl

This little Power Ranger is a fierce little thing.  And she makes me smile.  But also she makes me crazy sometimes.  Like when she takes forever to get dressed.  And is distracted so so so easily when I tell her to do something.  Go put on your boots, I say.  And then she leaves the room to go put on her boots.  I assume.  But really I go searching for a few minutes later and find that she had decided its the perfect time to play with her dollhouse.

And don't even get me started about her and the buckling of herself into her car seat.

She doesn't do it.  Even though she can.  And I tell her to start buckling when I'm putting Annalise in her seat.  But Liv is sooooo slow and then she's not done buckling and then I have to just do it.

Oh it drives me crazy.  And it's not really that big of a deal.  She will learn eventually to do it quicker.  Right?  I mean, at least one day she'll eventually grow out of the car seat all together.  The days of no more buckling kids in car seats will be a bittersweet day.  But probably mostly sweet :)

I can't even

Getting her up is the best.
