This little piggy (or bug antennae)

My little baby girl has enough hair for a little bug antennae on top of her sweet little head.  It's not really a pig tail.  But it sure is cute!!  Plus also her newest favorite thing is standing at the door looking out or standing by windows and looking out.  She can climb onto the little wooden chair in their room and look out the window into the backyard.  Where she can spy her favorite of all favorites, the dog.  And so she bangs on the window and yells at him and loves it.  Then cries when I move the chair so that I can leave the room without fear of her toppling over in it.

Silly girl.  My sweet little bug antennae girl.

She also loves Da-da.  And can wave to him as she says "Da-da".  But she will not wave to Mama.  Or say Mama when I want her too.  But she'll whine it.  I'm not sure she's aware of what she's saying or if it's just the natural whining sound that comes out of her mouth.  "Maaaamaaaa."  I'm used to hearing my name being whined though. . .

In December last year

I put in an sd card today that I had forgotten to take picturs off of!

It's like finding money in your pocket that you didn't know was there.  These were from a dreary old afternoon in December.  It was cold and wet and gray outside but the kids were out doing something with Brice.  So I took some pictures.  My favorite of these gems are the series of Cam smiling through the fence.

Weenie roast

Last Friday we had a little weenie roast the farm.  It was the end of spring break and the weather was beautiful.  Pretty much the weather was beautiful all week.  Spring is here to stay.  Yay!!!

We brought the good ole pup out to the farm for the first time.  He patiently let Olivia pull him around on the leash.

She thought she was big stuff.  And he just thought, "oh man, when is this girl gonna get tired?"

And Jace had the little battery powered bike out there.  Brice wants to let him get a real dirt bike, but I'm not convinced.  This little battery one doesn't go very fast.  So it feels safe to me.  But also it doesn't handle the grass or hills or keep charged for longer than 20  minutes.  So that kind of stinks.  And no shocks so bumps are really jolty.  I guess.

The boys played a little badminton.  Or tried to anyway.  They weren't very skilled.

And of course we had to have smores!

Dandelions and such

Last Saturday Brice and Troy poured the concrete floor for this pole barn for Danny and Sherri.  They were gone from 6:00 in the morning till 8:00 at night working on it.  But the floor looks really good.  As will their house when it finally gets done, I'm sure.

We went out there I think Wednesday night for a little while because Brice was there working on some stuff after work, and he had the boys with him.  Plus also any chance I have to take pictures with pretty light, I'm there.

These two are crazy.  Also I took these in RAW format, and I've gotta say I'm starting to be a believer in RAW.  Because I think if it was in jpeg the clouds and the blue sky would have not been savable, and would have looked too blown out.  But I actually was able to get some of the blue in.  (Not the one on top, though, it was too underexposed)

Jace had his little battery powered motorcycle out there.  He drove it down a hill and pretty much had to push it up, because the batteries were basically dead.  Cam was a good brother and went to help him.  And look a little Livvy and the big giant tree and sky and old barn.  Love.

Then I had the boys blow dandelions for me.  They don't actually really know how to do it all that well, and we kind of eating them instead.  But they figured it out eventually. . .

I love these pictures!
