Painting and the swing

I turned my back for literally ten seconds and when I turned back she was already well into painting her fingers.

So I just let it be and grabbed the camera, of course.  Now every time she wants to paint she says, "I promise I won't paint on my fingers."  Yeah right.

Also one morning I made her randomly go outside so I could try to take a picture of her in raw format.  I took some.  I still don't see what the big deal is about it, though I do like this picture.  Also since I'm an avid PicMonkey only user, and have just started jumping into the photoshop and lightroom, I will admit that I'm still not sold on either one of them yet.  PicMonkey is just so much more user friendly.  But I'll keep plugging away at it.  Because it never hurts to learn new things, right?

Bubble bath

So the boys went to help Daddy with some after work work, which left the girls and I at home again to fend for ourselves.  Desperate times call for bubble baths.  There was no nap for Livvy today, minus a tiny one in the car, and Annalise has not been taking good naps at all during the day.  So both the girls were exhausted and whiny.

Liv had an early bath and then I plopped both the girls in front of the TV watching Little Einsteins while I made dinner.  Survival mode for sure.  Also Annalise loves tv already, and I'm not sure if I should feel glad or guilty about that.

I'll choose glad, I think.

She loves Doritos

Just like her mama, this girl knows how to eat some Doritos.

Annalise Kate, 4 months

This little girl is four months old.  Well, four and a half months old actually.  I'm a little late in getting these up.

What can I say about this little missy?  She does not like to sleep in her bed.   She likes to sleep right next to mommy.  Especially when three or four in the morning rolls around.  And mommy usually caves and lets her, because I'm exhausted and it would be disastrous waking Liv up at that time of night.  She would probably not go back to sleep.

So she cuddles with me in those early early hours of the morning.

I'm tired a lot.

Also she rolled over for the first time yesterday, which was a huge shock.  She hasn't even been trying to roll over, and I just looked down and she rolled right over, from her back to her belly.  I think she was pretty surprised by it, too.

She loves her feet and she loves to drool and I think she's completely ready for rice cereal.  She eyes the food we eat and smacks her lips.  We're gonna try out some cereal today and see how it goes!!

I love my little Annalisey.

Pumpkin patch

The school had their annual night at the pumpkin patch so we went.  It's always fun times.  Plus for the cost of admission, which is cheaper than it would normally be, you also get a hotdog, bag of chips, and a soda.  So an easy dinner.  That's definitely a plus.

Also we got our new computer and I can finally get back to picture editing and blogging.  I'm a happy camper about that.  Also I love the new computer.  So maybe it's kind of good that the old one reached its untimely death.  Although not really untimely, since we did have it for seven years.

So we painted the pumpkins earlier this week.  As it is fall break and we needed something to do.  Painting the pumpkins lasted all of five minutes.  So that was a big time filler.  Not.

And then we left Livvy's pumpkin unattended for I swear not more than thirty seconds, and the dog had shredded it and strewn it's pumpkin guts around the yard.  Liv was sad, as could be expected.  But when I said, "Dumb old dog," she said, "No mommy.  Andy not dumb.  He's my Andy."

And then I felt like a real winner.  So Andy is lucky that the kids love him so much, they are even willing to forgive him for chewing up anything and everything they happen to leave in the yard.

Dumb old dog. :)

And now I've played with my new computer, and am going to take some Nyquil and head to bed.  I have a head cold that is killing me.
